i smelt something fishy when they refused to let me take leave on 29th.

i was happily having my $2 Breakfast when the first surprise came.
it was Eddie homie!
he bought me.. ermm..
1. Chinese Magazine (ya right he's trying to be funny)
2. Panda Biscuit (he thought it looked like me. and that bothers me. lolx)
3. Birthday card (written painstakingly in Singlish!)
nevertheless, i love them all!

and that's the lamest surprise ever.
ok here goes.
emily and lina so happened to be out-of-office that very moment..
and the bell rang.
thus i accidentally opened the door.
a man walked in with a HUGE bouquet of flowers and a bear.
he was looking for emily.
i was grinning to myself at that point of time.
"oh. emily's not in. anyway..... i think.. that's for me?"
muahahaha.
"ahhh u're Miss Charis? Happy Birthday."
and he passed me the pressies.
"Thank you! ^^"
when i was still fumbling with the flowers and bear and the wrapper got entangled to my hair..
this kuku uncle presented me an invoice and asked me for money.
i was like GASPS.
Hello~ Miss Charis doesn't carry much cash with her!
so i passed the flowers and bear and somehow-messed-up wrapper back to him and ran frantically searching for my wallet.
but shuckz! *Money Not Enough*
well eventually i got hold of Jane and told her:
"errrrrrrrr.. u gals bought flowers for me? that uncle's waiting outside and he asked me to pay! but i don't have enough cash. can u lend me??"
both of us broke out in thunderous laughter.
ya. so that was really Joke of the Day!
to think that the receiver had to sign and pay for her own pressies!

i shared my cupcake with Prof Tjin.
my idol.
who never fails to offer me a ride home, but im always shy to go along with.
these bunch of gals really reminded me of my poly days.
just like DBS, we love to give each other surprises.
we'd buy candies and print cards whenever someone's moody.
they are my lovely peeps from RSO.
count myself lucky to have them around.
