to tell the truth, i'm so rock-bottom-down.
i did some impulse shopping which would normally occur when i'm not in the right mood.
went for two interviews consecutively and i totally screwed them up.
or should i say, they screwed me instead.
it's as though the interviewers had something against me.
maybe i had bad hair days or maybe they simple detest my face.
i could sense the negativeness right from their body languages.
please, allow me to vent this out.
this could probably save me from tossing and turning in bed till dawn.
yesterday i had an interview by two young ladies.
i thought one of them was sacarstic enough.
not until i met the one today..
i was interviewed by a panel of three.
one of them openly tossed a paper at my face before she leaned back and folded her arms.
why?
just because she wanted me to 'prove' my standard of chinese to them.
at first, she told me to translate 'Ngee Ann Polytechnic' in chinese.
apparently, i wasn't daunted by that.
she then intimidatingly tossed me a paper and said "Write that down then.".
i wish i could roll my eyes so hard that her jaws drop heavily on the marble floor.
after the co-interviewer (who's 100 times friendlier) passed me a pencil from his pocket,
i wrote the 6 chinese characters down with utmost confidence.
not wanting to let me pass, she then bombarded me with some poorly defined scenarios wanting me to state my 'creative' ideas.
i rest my case.
the entire session was a sore experience, in irony to the industry's core positioning.
they probably had to start marketing Service Excellence internally.
seriously, these two sessions set me pondering over my capabilities.
i felt so damn ignorant under their vicious fronts.
it was freaking demoralising.
but that also acted as a reverse psychology.
i shall prove my worth!
and i had to say, bei was nice to accompany me for dinner on both days :)
we had good food.
although i ranted about the unhappiness, i tried to hide my bruised ego at the same time.
and i managed to sum it up with "Ok, it's over anyways.." and changed topics.
which in fact, ain't so.
i'm still lamenting over the screwed incidents.
let me come to my own senses :)

It's okay, jiayou! =)
